What this document governs
For formal responses to findings raised during assessment or monitoring under either quality-assurance route.
Use CQ-TPL-03 version 1.0 for work started against this publication. Retain the code and version with any saved or shared copy; a later version does not silently rewrite an earlier decision record.
CQ-TPL-03.01
Intended use
Use the finding reference and exact requirement stated in the assessment record. Define the affected scope and objective evidence before proposing action; do not rewrite the finding or substitute a general improvement plan.
CQ-TPL-03.02
Response logic
Separate immediate containment, completed correction, cause analysis and systemic corrective action. A cause should explain why the control failed and be supported by evidence. State ownership, dates, completion records and a method capable of testing effectiveness after implementation.
CQ-TPL-03.03
Closure and status
Request closure only when completion and effectiveness evidence is available. The status list and live summary support workflow management; only Certiqual verification can close a formal finding, and further evidence or resampling may be required.
